Dynamic Boundaries

Asking for What You Want With Ease

We are told boundaries are essential, the key to self-care and empowerment. Yet what do boundaries entail? What does it mean to be fully within them? Boundaries blurred in 2020 due, in part, to the global pandemic forcing your public and private spaces to entangle and muddle into each other. As restrictions lift and as you begin to separate those spaces, what does it mean to do so within your boundaries?

So often, the boundaries conversation leaves out what is within your boundaries; the richness that comes from asking for what you want, embodied agency, and the spaciousness of respecting your own capacity as well as the capacity of others. Cheek to Cheek’s first online workshop, Dynamic Boundaries does just that — explores the “within.”

Alison Novelli facilitates this 3-week online workshop. After each session, you will have the opportunity to deepen your understanding through home practices and self-reflection.

Registration is now closed. Get on the Waitlist for the next round!

All identities, intersections, abilities, bodies, are welcome in this workshop. It is an opportunity to practice individually and as a group. This workshop draws from polyvagal theory, neuroscience, somatics, and psychology. It is also influenced and inspired by the Wheel of Consent® as developed by Dr. Betty Martin. Novelli has trained with the School of Consent, but is not a certified facilitator. For more information visit www.schoolofconsent.org.

This workshop is as much a bodily practice as it is a cognitive practice.
